The high-quality laser cut RIVAL skid plates are made from Deep Stamped 1/4-inch Thick Aluminum alloy. This durable underbody armor offers both a lightweight and high strength solution for underbody protection. Combined with a no drill installation, it’s an easy choice to protect underbody of your vehicle from rocks, logs and scrapes. Being an extremely corrosion resistant material aluminum will not rust even if the surface coating becomes gouged or scratched.
Upgrade to serious protection with heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick aluminum skid plate over the 0.09-inch thin steel Trailhunter plate or the stock plastic covers.
Attention 4th Gen Tacoma Owners: If your 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma is not a TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, or Trailhunter, this heavy-duty crossmember will be required for installation, as your Tacoma doesn’t have a factory-welded crossmember with the front mounting points.
Note: We recommend using a funnel with this skid plate when changing the oil to prevent spills and ensure a clean process.
